- Shin-Soo Choo 80’s Bobblehead

The individuality of recent bobbleheads are quickly supplanting previous “standard” versions where the player stood in uniform and, well, the head bobbled; and that was about it.  Lately, bobblehead likenesses of players include props (other than a ball, glove or bat), literal references to the player’s nickname (i.e. Roy “The Wizard” Oswalt decked out in a wizard’s hat in lieu of the traditional baseball cap), and in the case of this week’s Promo of the Week selection, Cleveland Indians’ right fielder Shin-Shoo Choo is bringin’ back the 80’s in grand fashion (all fashion in the 80’s was grand…or more appropriately put — “fabulous”).  The Korean-born Shin-Soo is rockin’ the Miami Vice-style get-up — complete with sunglasses resting atop his head — and standing on a “Simon Says” electronic game base. (for you youngsters out there, “Simon Says” was a vessel for demonic souls).
