Steve McNair

When the tragic news broke about the fatal shooting of former Tennessee Titans star, Steve McNair, his many legions of supporters were in utter shock.  The man who seemingly fought through near-death injuries year after year in leading his teams on the field, was found dead in a condo from multiple gunshot wounds at the all-too-young age of 36.  The Titans organization is giving fans the opportunity to pay their respects at the stadium in which he showcased his rare talents for 7 seasons when the building opened in 1999 (as Adelphia Coliseum).

The Tennessee Titans are opening LP Field Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fans can leave personal messages in a book that will be given to the McNair family. Video boards will show McNair highlights and a photo mural of his career with the Titans will be on display.
The ticket office also will be accepting donations to the Steve McNair Foundation.
